2026 Rally – Sunday 25th October 2026 – Confirmed Traders

Weather warnings: Serveral weather warnings for rain and wind have been issued for the area from Friday until Sunday. The rally will still be going ahead.
Wrap up, take care driving to the venue and be prepared for the weather if you are standing in the queue before opening times.

Our annual rally will take place on Sunday 25th October 2026, in the Volunteer Hall in Galashiels.

Entry will be £3 for adults, accompanied children under 16 free.
Doors open 11:15am, 11:00am for priority disabled access and Bring and Buy booking in.
Note the slightly later start time from last year due to later entry for setting up. Also remember to change your clocks back to UTC.

Traders with a table booking can access the hall from the rear entrance from 8:30am for setting up.

Our annual Rally and Open Day will take place on Sunday 25th October 2026. Venue is the usual Volunteer Hall in Galashiels. Opening time 11:00am(GMT) for general admission, 10:45am for disabled and early Bring & Buy booking.

2025 Rally! 26th October 2025

The hall has been booked and we’re already speaking to traders about the 2025 rally.

The date will be Sunday 26th October 2025. We know this clashes with the CQWW contest but most traders still preferred that week.

2024 Rally and Open Day – Sunday 27th October 2024

Many thanks to those who attended the rally, from the club members who helped set up and manned the doors and Bring & Buy, traders who came and offered something for everyone to see and buy, and the visitors who made it another great rally.

2022 Rally – 30th October 2022

The Galashiels and District Amateur Radio Society Rally and Open Day was held on Sunday 30th October 2022 at the Volunteer Hall, St John Street, Galashiels.

A successful day, over 200 visitors through the doors, 17 traders taking tables, and many items sold through the Bring & Buy.

Welcome back to the many familiar faces seen once again after the last few years of COVID restrictions, and some new faces too.

Thankfully the weather stayed dry during the unloading of traders vehicles and setting up, with some heavy showers just after lunchtime.

Heavy rain shower just around lunchtime. Thankfully not at the start when we had queues of people waiting outside, or while traders were trying to load/unload their stuff.

Empty hall with just some boxes left on the floor waiting to be loaded onto vehicles and taken back home.

And then it’s all over! Tables emptied, visitors and traders heading back home.

Many thanks to all club members who came along to help setting up and to help out while others had a look around the hall. Thanks to the traders for setting up a display of products for everyone to come to, the caterers for food and drinks, and thanks to all those who came from far and wide to see our rally and again making it a successful day.
